WHY USE US ?
Unexpected legal bills can be incredibly frustrating. So for standard work types we offer fixed fees. For complex, urgent and higher value work we will provide an estimate of costs, and will keep costs as a live discussion point. Basically, we don’t want you having any nasty surprises. All we ask is that you are open and fair with us about what your job entails.
There will always be a place for the “full service law firm” in the costly ivory towers of Auckland and Wellington. They are a great resource. For us, we have a different set of values. We believe our clients work with us because we focus on what they need. Which is why we’re good at it. On those rare occasions where you need a specialist in some area of law outside our realm, we’ll go to the ivory towers and find the right person for you.
We think “commercial”. All of us have property and business interests outside of the law. We think that’s healthy when we are advising people about property and business. We know how our clients think because that’s how we think. We know what drives our clients’ businesses, especially in property, tourism and hospitality.
If you want us you can get hold of us. We don’t work 9 to 5. Yes we are physically in the office during the day, unless we’re out visiting clients. But if you have an itch for advice in the evening or weekend, we are available. You’ll catch us online, by email, by text or even by phone.
