At Queenstown Law, we have decided to change things up.
With Whatsapp, Zoom, Teams and Docusign, not to mention email and the humble mobile phone (which will reach us almost anywhere on the planet (give or take some of the out of the way places that Russell goes like the top of Mt Kilimanjaro), the days of clients having to come to our office are dwindling.
Certainly we have noticed and fully understand that it can be a mission to get into Cow Lane to see us. I mean, what about the traffic, where do I park, etc etc. It can be a time consuming exercise.
So we are going a different way.
The grunt work we do for you will be done mostly at our new office in Lower Shotover.
But when we have things to discuss, or documents to sign we will find what works best for you, our valued clients.
Physical meetings can be in the plush surroundings of either The Mountain Club Beach Street in town, or The Mountain Club at Five Mile. We will have our own meeting room so discretion is assured.
If it is not convenient (or necessary) to meet in person we have ample video call options available to connect with you online. We can email documents to you to work through and digitally sign (for many documents anyway). Or we can engage by phone or email.
Basically the plan is to provide you, our client, with flexibility and convenience.
There is a lot to be said for meeting in person. We particularly always like to meet new clients in person - we are "people persons" ourselves. We also know that sometimes it is just better to meet in person, particularly if there are complicated or stressful issues to discuss.
But you will know when you need to do that, and you will decide whether it is more convenient to do it using one or other of the more modern ways of dealing with things.
We think it is very exciting. We are confident that our clients (and prospective clients) will be happy with this too as there is no further charge for what we see as a real convenience for you. We're thinking of you.
